Walmart Is Entering Video Game Business

Posted: Updated:

Watch out, Gamestop -- Calmar is entering the used video game sales business.

The world's largest retailer has announced it will soon let gamers trade in their old video game discs for gift cards. Walmart says it will accept all working, undamaged copies of games for modern consoles, such as the Wiii, X-Box and Playstation.

Used games will be refurbished and re-sold as "certified pre-owned". The move puts Walmart in direct competition with similar practices at Gamestop, best buy, target and other stores.
