ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - On March 11, 2014, Alexandria Police Department detectives began investigating a report of missing merchandise from the Louisiana Fountain Company located at 3651 Lee Street.

As a result of this investigation, detectives said they learned that merchandise was stolen from the company on at least four occasions beginning in February, and connected Daryl W. Waller, 49, and Eric C. Zeno, 37, both of Alexandria, to the thefts.

On March 18, APD detectives arrested Waller and Zeno and charged them with 1 count Felony Theft over $1,500.00.

Waller and Zeno were taken into custody without incident after warrants of arrest were issued, reported APD.

Both men were transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center for booking.

This incident is still under investigation and no other details are being released at this time.
