WINN PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Special Victims Unit/Alexandria Field Office arrested Scott Hebert, 39, of Winnfield, on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 for five counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

On March 20, 2014, LSP's Special Victims Unit received information from the Miller County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas in reference to Hebert.

They advised that Hebert made contact with several children, in Arkansas, ranging from ages 10-12 years old via social media and that he sent pornographic images of himself to them.

Hebert had also coerced one child into the production of child pornography.  Miller County Sheriff's Office were then able to secure an arrest warrant for Hebert, according to LSP.

After being advised of these crimes, LSP SVU detectives made contact with Hebert, in an undercover capacity, posing as a juvenile female.

LSP said during the contact/investigation, Hebert sent pornographic images to whom he thought was a juvenile female.

On March 25, 2014, LSP SVU detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Hebert, along with a search warrant for his residence.

Both warrants were executed on March 25, 2014 and Hebert was arrested without incident.

Hebert was booked into the Winn Parish Jail and charged with five counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile as a result of LSP SVU's investigation.

He was also booked as a fugitive from Arkansas.

LSP was assisted by the Department of Homeland Security/ICE.
