More charges against woman connected to burglary

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - A woman currently in jail since March 24, 2014 was rearrested on more charges for burglary and theft.

On March 24, 2014, after a lengthyinvestigation, RPSO detectives arrested Omni Michelle Mylott, 27, for being involvedin some local burglaries and forgeries.   

During the continuedinvestigation, detectives said they discovered more evidence that Mylott was involved inyet another case of burglary and identity theft. 

The burglary linked toMylott occurred in the 1400 block of LA 1204 in Raintree Trailer Park at theend of February. 

Mylott was again arrested for 1 count of Burglary of Inhabited Dwelling, 1 count of Identity Theft, 1 count Theft under $100, and 1 count of Theft $300-$500 while inthe Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Detectives say the investigation is continuing.
