NSU offers concealed carry class this weekend

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Northwestern State University's Officeof Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a Louisiana Concealed CarryClass on Saturday, April 5.

The class is for those age 21 or older who want toobtain a Louisiana concealed handgun permit.

The course will be from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. in SouthHall on the Northwestern State campus and at the Natchitoches Shooting Range.

The cost is $110 plus a shooting range fee.

Montgomery Police Chief Kevin Billiot will teach theclass which will cover pistol shooting fundamentals, safe handling, use offorce laws and related topics.
