Man missing in Vernon Parish

VERNON PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of James N. Stephens.

Stephens is described as a white male, 31 years old, red/auburn hair, blue eyes, 6'3 tall, weighing approximately 215 pounds.

Stephens was last seen in the area of Johnsonville on Highway 10 in Vernon Parish on Saturday, March 29, 2014 wearing blue jeans, an orange shirt, and a ball cap.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of James N. Stephens can contact the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-238-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 337-239-2233.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office is attempting to ensure the well being of Stephens.
