Eating More Salt Might Be Okay

A new study suggests you can feel a little less guilt when you indulge in salty foods.

The Centers for Disease Control recommend limiting sodium from 15 to 23-hundred milligrams a day, but some experts say that's unnecessarily and unrealistically low.   They say a more reasonable and higher range of sodium consumption is safe and may actually be healthier for people without high blood pressure.

The new review of research showed the ideal daily sodium intake is 27-hundred to five-thousand milligrams, which is already followed by about 95-percent of the world's population.
