BOYCE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - On February 24, 2014, deputies from the Boyce Sub-station responded to Kendall Lane in Boyce in reference to a burglary.

RPSO stated the victim advised that while she was in the hospital, her residence was burglarized and her jewelry was missing.

The case was turned over to RPSO Detectives for further investigation and their findings revealed there were 3 people staying at the residence while she was hospitalized.

During the investigation, suspects were identified and warrants were issued for their arrests.

On April 11, 2014, officers with the Alexandria Police Department had contact with Douglas Wayne Gilbert, 37, of Boyce and arrested him on the warrant for 1 count of Burglary of Dwelling, and 1 count of Criminal Trespass.

The same day, RPSO detectives said located Allison Lee Dubois, 40 of Boyce, and she was arrested for 1 count of Burglary of Dwelling and 1 count of Criminal Trespass.

A warrant was also issued for a third suspect, Douglas Obrian Coleman, also of Boyce, who has not been located yet.

Coleman is described as a white male, 42 years of age, 5'8'', and 150 pounds.

Detectives say the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are expected.  This makes Gilberts 64th booking into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
