*UPDATE* Marksville man wanted on attempted 2nd degree murder charge

**UPDATE** : Taj Williams turned himself in to the authorities today. He is being held on a $350,000 bond.

(KALB News Channel 5) - According to Sheriff Doug Anderson, Taj Williams, 26, of 562 Hwy 1192, of Marksville, is wanted by the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office on a charge of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder relating to a shooting incident which occurred at a residence near Marksville late Thursday night.

 According to investigators, several shots were fired with one bullet striking the victim in the hip. The victim is in an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Taj Williams is described as a black male, 6’1”, 285 lbs, “Popeye” and “Bricks 1192” tattoo on left forearm. “Skull” and “Real Good” are tattooed on his right arm.

Williams is considered dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Taj Williams is asked to call the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office / C.I.U. at 318-253-4000.
