Crime Stoppers tip leads to arrest of Alexandria man

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office said a complaint from Crime Stoppers led to an Alexandria drug arrest on April 22.

RPSO Detectives arrested Keane Jenkins, 33, after investigating a report of marijuana sales on Carlton Street.

Detectives began surveillance on the home and witnessed a suspected drug deal involving Jenkins. RPSO said Detectives found approximately two lbs. of marijuana, as well as crack cocaine in Jenkins' vehicle. 

Jenkins was transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center and charged with Possession of CDS I to Distribute, Possession of CDS II to Distribute and Resisting an Officer. He is being held on $15,500.00 bond and a probation violation.
