Cochon de Lait festival kicks off tonight in Mansura

MANSURA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The Cochon de Lait Festival begins tonight in Mansura with Family Night.

Festival goers can pay one price and ride carnival rides all night. This weekend marks the 40th year of the festival, which will be filled with great food and good times.

The Mayor of Mansura, Kenneth Pickett, said, "We are really excited. It has always been one of the main attractions to Mansura this time of year. We are really excited because it's a lot of fun, entertainment, and lots of food."

The will be a street dance on Friday and Saturday night and another Carnival Family Day on Sunday.
