EDMONDS, Wash., May 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Gurian Institute and The Center, A Place of HOPE host a groundbreaking, one-day conference tomorrow at the Edmonds Center For The Arts in Edmonds, Washington. This one-day conference addresses the crisis facing the development of young boys in the United States.

With keynote addresses from Michael Gurian and Dr. Gregg Jantz, and breakout sessions from leading education specialist Dakota Hoyt and Gregg Johnson, this event is designed to both educate and impart tools for teachers, parents, counselors, coaches and youth leaders.

Only a few tickets remain for this event which begins at 9:00am PDT and ends at 4:00pm. Doors open at 8:00am. Tickets can be purchased online at www.helpingboysthrivesummit.com, or at the box office the day of the event.

This conference provides continuing education credits for professional counselors and work hour credits for teachers in the state of Washington.
