GPSO concludes investigation with half a dozen arrests

 GRANT PARISH, (KALB News Channel 5) - The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Colfax Police Department concluded an investigation May 21, 2014 and executed three search warrants that resulted in numerous arrests: 

·         Antonio Davis, of Colfax, was arrested for Carrying a Firearm in a Firearm Free Zone (school zone), Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of CDS II (crack cocaine). 

·         Martavius Turner, 20, of Colfax, was arrested for Aggravated Second Degree Battery. 

·         Michael Miles, 33, Colfax, was arrested for 2nd Offense Possession of CDS I (marijuana), Possession of CDS II (crack cocaine), Possession of Legend Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Probation Violation, and an outstanding warrant from Rapides Parish. 

·         Troy Aaron, 52, Colfax, was arrested for Carrying a Firearm in a Firearm Free Zone (school zone). 

·         Antoine Hagan, 20, Colfax, was arrested for Aggravated Second Degree Battery. 

·         Jeremy Miles, 24, Colfax, was arrested for Carrying a Firearm in a Firearm Free Zone (school zone) and Felony Grade Obstruction of Justice.
