ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Is your kid a future entrepreneur? The Alexandria Mall has a program that can put them in business.

The Alexandria Mall is hosting the third year of Kids, Inc., a program to promote retail entrepreneurism among today's youth.

Kids 6-15 are invited to submit their business ideas to the mall's facebook page starting today through June 15.

"These kids that we are inviting to enter the contest, they are our future. They're what we call our merchants of the future," said Missy McKinght Alexandria Mall Marketing Manager. "We really want to foster that by giving them an opportunity to enter the contest and submit a business plan, vote, and see it come to fruition."

Ten winners will be invited to a one-day business showcase where they can sell their products or services and keep the earnings.
