Most Teens Have Witnessed Cyber Bullying

Posted: Updated:

(NBC) Reports of cyber bullying are on the rise, more than "tripling" in the last year.
A Mcafee survey of teens and preteens finds nearly 90 percent have witnessed cyber bullying, which is up from less than 30 percent last year. Another key finding is teens are turning to social networks they believe their parents are "not" trolling, like Youtube and Instagram.
Mcafee has some things you can do  to help keep your child safe from cyber bullies. Make sure you have passwords to all social media accounts, and passcodes to all devices.  And stay a step "ahead" by keeping on top of the latest technology, apps and websites aimed at teens and preteens.
