VPSO arrests 4 on drug charges

VERNON PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force has arrested the following persons in connection with various illegal drug charges.

On June 2, 2014 Task Force Agents initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Tangye Poe, 23, and Joshua K. Gattis, 28, both of Leesville, according to VPSO.

Poe was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana, two counts of Possession of Schedule III Drugs, and one count of Obtaining CDS by Fraud.  Bond was set at $ 42,000.00. Poe remains in the Vernon Parish Jail at the time of this release.

Gattis was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana, three counts of Possession of Schedule II “Meth”, two counts of Schedule III drugs, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bond was set at $ 39,000.00. Gattis remains in the Vernon Parish Jail at the time of this release.

On June 3, 2014 the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force arrested Carolyn Degley, 27, and John Flora, 38, both of Leesville, La. 

Degley was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Schedule II “Meth”.  Bond was set at $ 5,000.00. Degley posted bond and was released.

Flora was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Bond was set at $ 2,000.00. Flora posted bond and was released.
