Camaro Included In Latest GM Recall

Posted: Updated:

(NBC) Four more recalls for General Motors including one for its popular Chevy Camaro muscle car.
GM announced today it is recalling Camaros from model years 2010 through 2014 because company tests showed a driver's knee can bump the key fob and turn it out of the "run" position, causing a loss of power. More than 511-thousand Camaros, mainly in North America are affected. GM said it is aware of three crashes relating to the Camaro recall that caused "minor" injuries.
The other, much smaller recalls announced by GM today are for Saab 9-3 convertibles model years 2004 through 2011, Buick LaCrosse sedans from model year 2014, and various Chevy Sonic compacts from the 2012 model year.
So far this year, General Motors  has recalled 14.4 million U-S cars and trucks, and 16-point-five million vehicles worldwide.
