RPSO: Two teens arrested on battery charges

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) RPSO Deputies arrest Pitkin, Hineston teens on battery charges. 

Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested Aubrey Levi Wisby, 19, and Ashley Nicole Jarrell, 17, after investigating a disturbance in Plainview, Louisiana where a victim was allegedly involved in an altercation.
 
RPSO arrested Wisby on June 12 and Jarrell on June 16. Both suspects were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and charged with Second Degree Battery and Criminal Conspiracy. They were released later on a $100,000.00 bond.

RPSO said the victim was treated and released the day of the incident.

“With school out, we see gatherings of young adults where alcohol is being consumed and altercations sometimes occur," Sheriff William Earl Hilton said. "Our deputies are conducting extra patrol in these areas where this type of activity takes place."
