Drug Combo Shows More Promise To Help Kick The Habit

(NBC) A Duke University study suggests combining two smoking cessation therapies can improve quit rates among some people.
Researchers identified smokers who had a low likelihood of being able to quit and had them take the drug Chantix with a placebo or Chantix along with the drug Zyban for 12 weeks.
Six months later, the combined treatment group had significantly more success in quitting, especially men, and those who were most highly dependent on nicotine.
