RPSO: Six arrests made during undercover drug investigation

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office arrested six Alexandria residents on June 12 after receiving complaints about drugs being sold at a location in Alexandria. 

RPSO said agents used undercover officers to purchase crack cocaine and marijuana from six individuals.

"We will continue to respond to the communities complaints about illegal narcotics activity in their neighborhoods," Sheriff William Earl Hilton said. "These people live there and raise their families there, and they're tired of it."

RPSO arrested the following individuals just moments after sales:

Anthony Devonta Green, 21, 2419 Hynson Street, Alexandria, La. and charged him with Distribution of CDS I.

J.B. Watts III, 27, 4304 3rd Street, Alexandria, La. and charged him with Distribution of CDS II.

Russell Prenell, 50, 3010 Wise Street, Alexandria, La. and charged him with Distribution of CDS II and Resisting Arrest.

Shonda Fisher, 41, 1822 Dartmouth Street Apt. A, Alexandria, La. and charged her with Distribution of CDS II.

Sylvia Barbette Davis, 48, 118 Longfellow Street, Alexandria, La. and charged her with Distribution of CDS I.

Tyrus Seth Gable, 28, 2727 Wise Street, Alexandria, La. and charged her with Possession of CDS II to Distribute.

    A slow "farmer's" rain fell across the area today as the area was blasted with tropical moisture to the south.
