Iraq Jitters Pushing Gasoline Prices Higher

(NBC) Concerns over increasing violence in Iraq send prices up at the pump.

The average price per gallon for unleaded rose two cents over the past two weeks to three dollars and 71 cents a gallon.  Analysts point to industry-wide fears over growing violence and instability in Iraq, and how the situation will affect oil production there.  

Tucson, Arizona posts the lowest average price at three-37 a gallon. Chicago has the highest, clocking in at four dollars 15-cents for a gallon of unleaded. These are averages...prices may be lower in some places and higher in others.
