FOREST HILL, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - On June 20, 2014, Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office deputies from the Glenmora Sub-station responded to a complaint of a burglary at a convenience store in the 11000 block of US 165 in Forest Hill.

The burglary was discovered when workers went to open the business and no suspect was located.  Then on June 23, deputies responded a second time to the convenience store in reference to a burglary.

Again deputies arrived and there was no suspect but evidence discovered at the scene led to a possible suspect, according to RPSO.

Detectives from the Glenmora Sub-station began their investigation and shortly after, a suspect identified as Justin Blake Perry, 20, of Glenmora, was developed as possibly being the one who had broke into the store.

Upon further investigation and locating Perry, RPSO detectives had sufficient probable cause to place him under arrest for the burglary Friday night as well as Sunday night.

Perry was placed under arrest and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center for 2 counts of Simple Burglary.

Detectives say the investigation is ongoing and more suspects may be arrested.  Perry was released on a $7000.00 bond.
