Raising Cane's to host 3rd annual Kidd's Kids dine-in day today

BATON ROUGE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – For the third year in a row, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will be a major sponsor of Kidd’s Kids, the life-changing charitable program started by legendary radio host Kidd Kraddick.

Raising Cane’s Founder & CEO Todd Graves appeared on the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show this morning to announce the third-annual Kidd’s Kids Dine-In Day. Nearly 1,000 Kidd’s Kids family members are eligible to eat free at any of the nearly 190 Raising Cane’s restaurants nationwide today, June 25.

“Once again, my entire crew and I would like to invite every past and current Kidd’s Kid, and their families, to come by their nearest Raising Cane’s today to enjoy a free chicken finger meal on us,” said Graves. “We’re all huge fans of Kidd’s Kids, and we look forward to sharing our ONE LOVE with these wonderful children and their families.”

In honor of Kidd’s Kids Dine-In Day, and to kickoff this year’s support, Graves also presented a check for $10,000 to the Kraddick Foundation. More big announcements, including a major Kidd’s Kids event, are coming in the weeks ahead.

Kidd’s Kids, a program of the Kraddick Foundation, was established in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to children whose lives have been ravaged by disease, with an all-expenses paid dream vacation to Disney World for the kids and their immediate family.

“Todd and his incredible crew at Raising Cane’s are some of the most generous people you’d ever want to meet,” said Derrick Brown, executive director of the Kraddick Foundation. “Their support is helping us take more Kidd’s Kids than ever to Disney World this year, and we simply couldn’t ask for better partners.”
