Walking Can Make Things Better For Parkinson's Patients

(NBC) Walking may help improve symptoms of Parkinson's disease.

Researchers at the University of Iowa studied sixty Parkinson's patients who did not have dementia and could walk on their own. They participated in three, forty-five minute walking sessions a week for six months. They found walking led to a marked improvement in mood, attention, fatigue and aerobic fitness.

The participants also reported better motor function skills.
