BRIGHTON, England, July 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
HolidayTaxis.com is using research published to support their drive for 'Safe Transfers on Holiday'. Over 563 million people visited Europe in 2013, with 4.2 million British holidaymakers planning to travel by car. However, a shocking 20% of drivers admit to having driven in Europe without researching the road rules in the country they are visiting.
With safety as a core concern, HolidayTaxis.com are confident that their rigorous checks, based on UK safety standards, will add comfort to anguished tourists, who may be putting themselves and their families in danger.
"We ensure that all of our suppliers meet strict compliance criteria, and that every single vehicle is licensed and registered under EU Safety law. That is why we are the best in the business," says Norman Turner, Director of Operations.
We surveyed our customers and found that over half of passengers choose shuttles or taxis to get from the airport to their destination, with the vast majority planning a relaxing beach break. Three quarters of those surveyed rated their experience with HolidayTaxis.com as either 'Very Good' or 'Excellent'.
When travelling abroad, whether by train, boat or plane, reaching your destination with a reliable, safe taxi or shuttle transfer is the best option. Whilst holidaymakers spend, after flights, close to £24 per day on transport whilst they're away, many aren't aware that they can take the hassle out of getting around abroad by booking a transfer.
Turner adds, "This level of satisfaction just adds to the comfort and protection that HolidayTaxis.com provides. An authorised, pre-booked, pre-paid service that gets you to your destination on time and safely."
