RPSO makes criminal misconduct arrest

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - On March 17, 2014, Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office Tioga detectives investigated a complaint of a possible criminal sexual conduct on a juvenile. 

RPSO reported as detectives began their investigation, the juvenile victim was interviewed with the assistance of the Rapides Parish Children’s Advocacy Center. 

Through their investigation, detectives were able to develop enough probable cause to support the allegations and warrants were obtained for Mitch Walker II, 32, of Dry Prong, for 1 count of Aggravated Rape, 3 counts of Sexual Battery and 3 counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, according to RPSO. 

On July 3rd , 2014, Walker was located by the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office at a residence in their parish where he was taken into custody without incident on the Rapides charges. Walker was later booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains on a $480,000.00 bond
