An area of low pressure continues about 1450 miles east of the southern Windward Islands. This system has been given the designation 93-L. Movement is toward the west at 10-15 mph.
This feature is organized and is not far from becoming a tropical depression. In fact, most of the suite of computer models predict that 93-L will achieve depression status during the next one to three days. Movement is forecasted to be west-northwest.
Elsewhere in the Atlantic Basin, there are no other features of concern.
