Avoyelles Parish School Board employee arrested for obscenity in Kenner

KENNER, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – An Avoyelles Parish School Board employee has been arrested in Kenner.

According to Kenner Sgt. Brian McGregor, Randy Littleton, 48, of Deville, is charged with obscenity.

McGregor told News Channel 5 that Littleton was seen by an officer fondling himself while standing naked in front of an open window.

The exhibition occurred in the early morning of July 30th at a hotel in the 2100 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

A uniformed Kenner officer was in his patrol car working on a security detail in the back parking lot of the hotel. He looked up and saw a naked man waving and pointing in his direction, McGregor said.

Littleton was standing in the hotel room window, masturbating, with curtains open and lights blazing, McGregor said. Once he decided he had the officer's attention, he gave the officer a "thumbs-up" sign.

McGregor said the officer and a hotel manager found Littleton’s room. When they knocked on the door, Littleton answered wearing only his glasses and a pair of underwear.

Littleton admitted to rubbing his genitals while standing in the window, in full view of the public, for about five to 10 minutes, McGregor said. The officer was told Littleton had done so to arouse himself.

Avoyelles Parish school superintendent Dwayne Lemoine did confirm that Littleton is an employee of the school board.

“We do know he was arrested. He is on leave at this time,” Lemoine said. Lemoine also said that the school board is also doing an investigation.

Littleton was arrested and booked at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna and was released July 31 on at $2,500 bond.
