SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Shreveport police say a 40-year-old man is dead and a 36-year-old woman has been booked with second-degree murder.
KSLA TV reports a fatal stabbing happened Sunday morning at a West Shreveport home.
Police say Valerie Bass is accused of stabbing Isaac McClain in the neck.
Officers found McClain in the front yard of a home he shared with his girlfriend, 35-year-old Theresa Ascott.
McClain was pronounced dead at nearby hospital.
Detectives believe the stabbing was sparked by an argument between McClain and Ascott. They say Ascott called Bass to pick her up.
When Bass arrived, police say she got involved in the argument and a short time later McClain was stabbed.
It was unclear whether Bass has an attorney.
