SYNOPSIS...Above average conditions will be continue into this work week as temperatures stay in the mid to upper 70s. A disturbance over Texas currently will be slowly making its way towards Louisiana bringing rain and thunderstorms to our area at the start of the school/work week. This rain will continue throughout the first half of the week before drier conditions return for the latter half of this week.
TONIGHT...Mostly clear skies will turn to partly cloudy as clouds increase ahead of tomorrow's disturbance with light to moderate winds lasting overnight. Lows 61-65 with SE winds 3-8mph.
MONDAY...Some patchy fog is possible early in the morning hours, but will clear out as breezy conditions pick up. Rain and thunderstorm coverage will increase throughout the day as the front moves through our area in the afternoon and evening. Highs 73-77 with SSE winds 5-15mph.
MONDAY NIGHT...Showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout most of the evening and become more scattered by the overnight hours. Lows 59-63 with S winds 3-8mph.
TUESDAY...Scattered showers will continue throughout the morning and afternoon with winds shifting from the south to north. Highs 70-74 with variable winds 2-7mph.
