Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...A series of upper-level impulses will provide enough lift in the atmosphere to produce a slight chance of a shower/thunderstorm through tonight and tomorrow afternoon. On Friday, a cold front will approach the area from the north. This may give us a decent chance for rain and storms Friday evening, some of which could be on the strong side.

TONIGHT...Broken clouds. Mild with a slight chance of a shower. Lows 64-68. South winds 6-14 mph. Chance of rain 20%.

THURSDAY... Broken clouds. Breezy. A few isolated showers and/or thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Highs 82-86. South winds 12-22 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Broken clouds. Mild. Lows 64-68. South winds 8-16 mph.

FRIDAY...Broken clouds. Warm and Windy. Showers and/or thunderstorms developing late. Highs 83-87. Southwest winds 12-20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
