SYNOPSIS... Thanks to a tropical wave in the southwestern part of the Gulf of Mexico, our Father's Day into early next week looks a bit rainy and a bit windy as we will be contending with a good amount of tropical moisture. The tropical wave looks to potentially dump a lot of rain in Southwestern Louisiana, Southern and Southeastern Texas from Sunday into early next week. Cenla is looking at anywhere from 0.25-2.00" generally over the next 2-3 days, with isolated areas possible seeing 2.00-4.00" or more in spots thanks to overall tropical moisture.

SATURDAY EVENING... Temperatures look to drop into the upper 70s by the 10pm hour. Scattered evening showers/t-storms (40%), will lead to isolated late evening showers/t-storms (20%). Breezy, with south-southeast winds of 2-14 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING... Temperatures bottom out in the lower 70s. Very warm and muggy. Isolated rain showers (20%) are possible. Breezy, with east-southeast winds of 2-14 mph. Patchy fog in spots on Sunday morning is possible.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON... Temperatures struggling in the 80s. Very warm and muggy. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms (70-80%) are likely due to tropical moisture. Windy, with southeast winds of 6-20 mph, gusts of up to 40 mph are possible. Rainfall amounts of 0.25-1" generally, with isolated spots seeing 1-3" or more possible from the tropical moisture on Sunday overall.

SUNDAY NIGHT/MONDAY MORNING... Temperatures bottom out in the lower 70s. Very warm and muggy. Scattered shower activity looks to calm down to stray shower activity into Monday morning (10%). Breezy, with east-southeast winds of 2-14 mph.

MONDAY AFTERNOON... Temperatures struggling in the 80s. Very warm and muggy. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms (60%) are likely due to tropical moisture. Windy, with southeast winds of 6-20 mph, gusts of up to 40 mph are possible.

**To all of the Father's out there across Central Louisiana, have a wonderful Father's Day on Sunday!**
