Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...Big changes coming as high clouds will stream over the area for tonight. A cold front will move through on Superbowl Sunday. Out ahead of it, breezy southerly winds will pump in warm air and moisture. This will yield high rain chances throughout the day. The front will move through tomorrow night, switching winds out of the northwest. Much cooler air is expected to start the work week.

TONIGHT...Clouds moving in. Rain chances increasing after 2am. Lows 48-52. Southeast winds 6-14 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

SUNDAY...Overcast skies with showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs 67-71. Southerly winds 10-20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

SUNDAY NIGHT...Early evening rain chances. Clouds decreasing after midnight with cooler air filtering in. Lows 33-37. Northwest winds 12-22 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

MONDAY...Mostly sunny. Much cooler. Highs 46-50. North winds 5-15 mph.
