Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS... Partly cloudy skies continue into the overnight hours with little to no rain expected. Winds pushing from the south and daytime heating will lead to a slight chance of rain for Friday. A cold front to the north will slowly drift into northern Louisiana on Saturday. Southerly winds provide enough moisture to work with energy ahead of the front to produce showers and thunderstorms on Saturday.

TONIGHT...Partly cloudy. Lows 72-75. Southwest wind 2-10 mph.

FRIDAY...Partly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of isolated afternoon rain. Highs 89-93. Southwest wind 2-8 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with a 10% chance of an isolated shower. Lows 73-76. South wind 2-6 mph.

SATURDAY... Partly sunny with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. South wind 2-8 mph.
