SYNOPSIS... Thanks to increasing cloud cover, daytime heating and tropical moisture from a tropical wave will allow for high rain chances and heat relief to kick off the new work week for Monday and Tuesday.

**Anywhere from 0.25-2.00" of rainfall the next 2 days, with isolated spots seeing 2.00" or more due to tropical moisture from the tropical wave.**

MONDAY... Patches of fog are possible. Partly to mostly cloudy early, followed by mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms (50-80%) are likely due to lots of tropical moisture streaming into Louisiana, especially in southern Cenla parishes. Highs struggling in the 80s. Humid. Windy, with southeast winds of 6-20 mph, with gusts of up to 40 mph possible at times.

MONDAY NIGHT... Mostly cloudy skies. Isolated rain showers (20%) are possible. Lows bottoming out to around 71. Muggy. Breezy, with east-southeast winds of 2-14 mph.

TUESDAY... Patches of fog are possible. Mostly cloudy skies. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms (60%) are likely due to lots of tropical moisture continuing to stream in. Highs struggling in the 80s. Humid. Breezy, with east-southeast winds of 4-16 mph, with stronger wind gusts possible near t-storms.

TUESDAY NIGHT... Mostly cloudy skies. Isolated rain showers (20%) are possible. Lows bottoming out to around 72. Muggy. East-southeast winds of 2-10 mph.
