SYNOPSIS... A summertime pattern continues, with a quiet start in the morning, and scattered afternoon thunderstorms. A ridge of high pressure will build in the Gulf of Mexico. The area of high pressure will keep rain chances low on Thursday and Friday.

TONIGHT... Partly cloudy and comfortable. A 10% chance of a lingering shower. Lows 71-75. Southwest wind 2-8 mph.

WEDNESDAY... Partly cloudy and warm. Highs 92-95. A 30% chance of scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Southwest wind 2-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT... Partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain. Lows 71-75. Southwest wind 2-8 mph.

THURSDAY...Mostly sunny and hot. A 10% chance of rain. Highs 91-96. West-southwest wind 5-15 mph.
