Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front continue to push through Central Louisiana. The front will drop temperatures at or below freezing. The freezing conditions and abundant moisture will lead to a rain, sleet, and snow mix between 6 AM and 11 AM.

THURSDAY MORNING...Overcast with off/on light rain, freezing rain, and sleet, and light snow flurries. Accumulations range from none to 0.25 inches. Windy with falling temps to 28-33 by noon. North wind 10-25 mph. Wind chill in the upper teens.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON...Mostly cloudy, windy, and cold with precipitation ending. Highs 32-36 North wind 5-15 will keep wind chill in the 20s.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Clearing skies with temperatures 22-26. North wind 2-12 mph.

FRIDAY...Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs 41-48. North wind 2-12 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT... Mostly clear and cold. Lows 24-30. Northeast wind 2-6 mph.

SATURDAY... Partly sunny with a 40% chance of rain in the evening. Highs 53-57. North wind 2-10 mph.
