Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...A shortwave trough and weak frontal boundary sagging southward will serve to produce showers and thunderstorms across the area for tomorrow. Most shower activity will probably occur during the afternoon, but thunderstorms could linger into the evening hours, affecting Firework plans. Just remember to keep an eye to the sky. Showers will be possible again Sunday before high pressure builds overhead and rain chances decrease next week.

TONIGHT...Broken clouds. A few showers possible. Lows 73-77. Southwest winds 4-12 mph. Chance of rain 20%.

SATURDAY...Broken clouds. Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs 87-91. Southwest winds 4-12 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

SATURDAY NIGHT...Broken clouds. A few showers possible in the evening. Lows 71-75. Southwest winds 2-10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

SUNDAY...Partly cloudy. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs 89-93. Southwest winds 4-12 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
