Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...A slow-moving storm system is working its way slowly toward CENLA from the west. Widespread showers and thundershowers are possible especially later in the day. Heavy rains are possible with these stronger storms along with high winds, lighting and small hail. Taking into consideration that we have the ingredients in place for severe weather we need to be aware of the possibility of an isolated twister or two.

TUESDAY...Showers and thundershowers develop in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 80's with southeast winds 5-15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

WEDNESDAY...Rain chances back off a notch to 40% with a broken cloud deck along with a ray or two of sunshine. Isolated thunderstorms could yield some heavy rains, which could in turn cause more localized flooding. Highs in the mid 80's, winds from the southeast to 15.
