Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS... Clouds will drift through as moist air is injected into the region from the Gulf of Mexico. CENLA will be sandwiched between two storm systems over the next few days giving us a mixed bag of weather. Isolated showers and thundershowers are possible during the heating of the day through the rest of the week and weekend. Temps will generally be in the lower to mid 90's with high humidity that will make it feel much warmer.

TODAY... Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated and scattered showers and thundershowers especially during the heating of the day. Southwest winds to 10, except adjacent to storms.

FRIDAY... A mix of sun & clouds. It will feel like a 100 degrees or more. 20% chance of an isolated showers with light winds from the southwest.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY ... Chances of showers and thundershowers are possible as we approach our daytime highs in the lower to mid 90's. Be aware of dangerous lightning and gusting winds as some storms could be strong. Overall the weather should cooperate with our outdoor events but storms can develop quickly so don't be caught off guard.
