SYNOPSIS... A trough will be to the north of us on Friday, it will eventually move off to the east over the weekend allowing for ridging to build back in. Northern Cenla right now is under a "marginal" risk for severe weather for Friday.

THURSDAY EVENING... Temperatures only falling into the upper 70s by the 10pm hour. Very warm and muggy. An early evening stray shower possible, otherwise partly cloudy skies. South-southwest winds of 2-12 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT/FRIDAY MORNING... Temperatures bottoming out in the lower 70s. Very warm and muggy. Partly cloudy skies. Patches of fog are possible in spots on Friday morning. South-southwest winds of 2-12 mph.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON... Temperatures soaring into the lower to middle 90s. Hot and humid. Heat indexes of 100-110 degrees. Partly cloudy skies. A stray shower or t-storm (10%) possible, northeastern Cenla could see an isolated severe t-storm (20%) possible with that "marginal" risk in place. Windy, with south-southwest winds of 6-20 mph, with stronger wind gusts possible near t-storms.
