SYNOPSIS...A cold front moves through today which will bring heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. This will push just to the south of central Louisiana before it stalls and gradually slides to the north later in the day Thursday into Friday.
WEDNESDAY...Heavy rain showers and thunderstorms likely as there is a marginal risk for a few severe storms. The time frame for these showers is about 10am to this afternoon into the evening. Temperatures will remain on the warm side with highs near 74. SSE wind 6-18 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue (80%). Low temperatures will be near 64 with a SSE wind 4-12 mph.
THURSDAY...An unsettled atmosphere continues to linger bringing those rain chances (60%). Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms continue with a few being heavier. Temperatures will be warm with highs near 77. S wind 5-18 mph.
THURSDAY NIGHT...Muggy with warm temperatures and lows near 63. A few scattered/isolated showers possible (30%). Winds will be out of the S 5-14 mph.
