Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure aloft continues over the southern Plains. This feature will shift eastward a bit through Thursday. That means a slow rise in temperatures and little rain. Continued humidity will make afternoon temperatures feel like it is more than 100 degrees.

WEDNESDAY...Partly cloudy, hot, and humid. Highs 93-99 with the peak heat index reaching 107. A 20% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. SW wind 2-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy and muggy. Lows 72-78. S/SW wind 328 mph.

THURSDAY...Partly cloudy and continued hot and humid. Highs 94-100 with the peak heat index reaching 108. A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. SW wind 2-10 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy skies. Lows 74-79. A 10% chance of an evening shower. SW wind 2-8.

FRIDAY...Partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Highs 94-101. A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. WSW wind 2-8 mph.
