SYNOPSIS...The stubborn high pressure cell aloft has moved back into the southern Plains. This will bring a front through central Louisiana with more comfortable weather through Saturday.

THIS EVENING...Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and t-storms. Temps will hold from the upper 70s to the lower 80s. A variable wind, strong near storms.

OVERNIGHT...Decreasing clouds with near seasonal temps. Lows 71-77. N/NE wind 3-8 mph.

FRIDAY...Mostly sunny, drier, and a bit breezy. Highs 92-99. NE wind 10-22 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT...Fair sky and slightly cooler. Lows 68-74. NE wind 3-8 mph.

SATURDAY...Mostly sunny and seasonally hot but with less humidity. Highs 93-99. E/NE wind 8-16 mph.
