SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge is over the western Atlantic Ocean. A trough is digging down into much of the plains which is bringing a significant cold front. Southerly flow brings significant winds and rain showers and thunderstorms through the middle part of the week.
MONDAY...Partly cloudy skies with spring-like temperatures. High temperatures will be near 81. It is going to be windy with the winds out of the south about 12-25 mph with gust up to 30 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT...Clouds filtering back into the area bringing mostly cloudy skies. It will be muggy and warm with low temperatures near 64. Winds will be out of the south about 5-18 mph.
TUESDAY...Windy with mostly cloudy skies. The warm temperatures stick around with highs near 82. Scattered showers start to push in bringing a 40% chance. S wind 12-25 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT...Rain showers and a few thunderstorms move in with a 70% chance. Temperatures will remain on the warm side with lows near 66. S wind 6-18 mph.
