Central Louisiana Forecast

SYNOPSIS...Cooler and drier air is continuing to pure in from the northeast, with a 1020 mb high centered over the Red River Valley. This will cool temperatures quickly tonight under mostly clear skies. High pressure should build back in from the west, which will increase temperatures back into the low 90s by the weekend. Rain chances stay off the board until early next week, when a piece of energy moves over the area.

TONIGHT...Mostly clear and cool. Lows 57-63. Northeast winds 2-10 mph.

THURSDAY...Mostly sunny. Seasonably warm. Highs 87-91. Northeast winds 4-12 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly clear. Pleasantly cool. Lows 59-63. Northeast winds 2-10 mph.

FRIDAY...Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs 90-94. East winds 2-10 mph.
