Time to say ‘good riddance’ to the year to end all years

(KALB) - We can finally say that 2020 is a year that is behind us. Now, we are looking ahead to 2021. Before we get to the year ahead, here is a look back at all the year has brought to Central Louisiana.
The Year in State Politics
COVID-19 both directed and impacted things out of Baton Rouge this year, from the initial lockdown to continuing executive orders from Governor John Bel Edwards. Steven Maxwell recaps the year in politics. **PLEASE NOTE: This recap was recorded prior to the death of Congressman-elect Luke Letlow.
The Year in Education
COVID-19 made it a year like no other in education. From schools shutting down to re-opening and students and staff adjusting to school life during a pandemic. Jojuana Phillips recaps how 2020 has affected education this year.

The Year in Court
2020′s impact on the Louisiana court system was anything but usual. In fact, effectively there was no court from March until July because the State Supreme Court ordered shutdowns.
