BOYCE, La. (KALB) - Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance solving an auto theft that occurred at 117 Pacific Avenue in Boyce on May 4.

They say around 6:30 a.m. a vehicle was taken while it was parked at some gas pumps. The vehicle is a black, 2014, Kia Optima, displaying LA plate XUS878. There is also a white, anchor sticker on the rear glass.

Crime Stoppers says the suspects are a white male and a white female that were driving a white, Ford F150 pickup. The white male got into the Kia Optima while the owner was in the store and left the store. He traveled southbound on LA Hwy 1 in Boyce. The white female left the scene in the white F150 pickup and traveled behind the stolen Kia Optima.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 318-443-7867 (STOP) or call the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-793-8166.
