ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - An Alexandria man has been arrested on narcotics and firearm charges, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

RPSO says its RADE Unit (Rapides Area Drug Enforcement) was investigating community complaints about drug activity when they identified Terrance Tyrell Hamilton, 31, as a potential suspect.

After securing arrest warrants for Hamilton, RPSO arrested him at his home on June 4. While there, RPSO says they located three firearms, 14 grams of cocaine, marijuana, suboxone strips, trazodone and $51,000 that was vacuum-sealed, allegedly for transport.

Hamilton was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and later released on June 8 on a $105,000 bond.

RADE says more arrests are possible in their investigation.
