SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Crews have cleared two 18-wheelers from the side of the road following an early morning wreck that shut down Interstate 20 east.

Officers got the call before 4:30 a.m. on Friday, March 18 to a stretch of interstate between Hearne Avenue and Greenwood Road exits. The roadway is now reopened.

Not much is known about how the big rigs ended up on the side of the road.

No injuries to either driver. No hazardous materials were spilled.

I-20 east was closed as crews work to tow both vehicles. Traffic was being diverted on Hearne Avenue. The roadway was closed for five hours.
